Milan, Garibaldi area, a stone’s throw from the Monumental Cemetery, a former historic Enel building now home to the Dsquared2 fashion group; entering the structure, a reception, a waiting room, a few steps, an elevator, 4th floor – Ceresio7. The elevator doors open and the venue reveals itself slowly: lights, glass walls, water, skyline, and then tables, photos, design, works of art, elegance, intimacy, cocktails, dishes, music, and composed vitality. This is CERESIO7, a careful mix of good taste, raw materials, design, substance, and skill. A unique, exclusive place where one feels good and where one wants to spend time, far from the hustle and bustle of the Milanese metropolis. The watchword: quality.
It was 2013 when Edoardo Grassi, Luca Pardini, and Marco Civitelli, professionals in fine dining and luxury hospitality, together with Canadian designers Dean and Dan Caten (Dsquared2) and chef Elio Sironi, gave life, in the heart of Milan, to this first Italian example of a Cocktail Bar & Restaurant, understood in the most international sense imaginable.
Thanks to the Storage architecture firm and the Dimore Studio design firm, which curated every detail of the interior concept and furnishings, one has the feeling of entering a venue from the 1940s, but where the retro vibe immediately gives way to modernity: signature cocktails, dishes of great visual and gustatory impact, attentive but never invasive service, and minimal mise en table, like a Parisian bistro, with fresh and colorful flowers that complete and soften the picture.
The idea behind Ceresio7 is to create a place to experience throughout the day, from breakfast to after-dinner; a sophisticated yet comfortable design environment where one feels at home, with the added benefit of cuisine signed by a high-caliber chef and a bar with high-profile bartenders.
The Design, the Spaces, and the different areas of the venue are skillfully divided by design elements and refined furnishings: retro furniture in perfect 1940s style separates the restaurant tables, providing a perfect sense of privacy and intimacy without limiting the view or the “open space” effect. The restaurant area is harmoniously integrated with the lounge bar, each table a niche, with unique design lighting by Dimore Studio illuminating tables that can accommodate up to 8 people.
